Assessing Readiness ‌of Khorramabad University Hospitals to Respond to COVID--19 Epidemic based‌ on WHO-EMRO Checklist

Background: The spread and epidemic of COVID-19, as a new disease, challenged many health achievements. In hospitals, the center crisis management activities, it is very important to develop preparedness plan. this study, response-readiness Khorram Abad hospitals in COVID-19 was discussed. Materials Methods: This study descriptive applied research that conducted cross-sectionally summer 1400 two stages. first stage, condition 3 University Hospitals based on checklist WHO-EMRO evaluation hospital's response readiness deal with covid disease done. data were analyzed after being recorded Excel. Based obtained results, weak points each hospital extracted examined through panel individual interviews, finally implementation solutions presented. Results: Hospital "A" relatively prepared terms human resources, rapid identification infection control; "B" fields continuity services, identification, isolation patients; "C" also information, They fully other areas. Two "B C" are at level full border overall 81% estimated optimal level. Conclusion: Considering preparation dealing epidemic, necessary train allocate sufficient manpower face future crises, budget program. Crisis preparedness, standard supply chain design programs should be given more attention.
